Salviamo il Colosseo!

SALVIAMO IL COLOSSEO DAL COMMISSARIAMENTO! Il Colosseo corre il pericolo più grave della sua lunga storia, il Commissario straordinario alla tutela archeologica di Roma, Arch. Roberto Cecchi, ha deciso di affidare il restauro del monumento simbolo della romanità ad imprese edili invece che ad imprese di restauro specializzate. Utilizzando l’enorme potere discrezionale ereditato da Bertolaso, il Commissario ha declassato il Colosseo: nel 2000 era stato operato un intervento campione, affidato a restauratori professionisti e lodato da tutto il mondo, per metter a punto le metodologie di intervento. Ora invece è stato formulato appositamente un nuovo e rozzo progetto di restauro delle superfici malate, al quale sono state chiamate a mettere mano non più imprese di restauratori specializzati, ma le grandi imprese edili, sulle quali convergono la fiducia e la simpatia del Commissario. Questa deprecabile procedura è stata già attuata per una parte del Colosseo e per altri importantissimi monumenti del Foro Romano, come il Tempio di Antonino e Faustina, eludendo platealmente la legge che individua nei restauratori specializzati i legittimi esecutori di interventi così delicati, proprio al fine di garantire la migliore conservazione possibile del monumento. Il Commissario Speciale, creato per fare presto e meglio i restauri monumentali, ha scelto di mettere a gravissimo rischio la loro conservazione. Un intervento inadeguato rischia di asportare la pelle più significativa del monumento con danni irreparabili; un triste destino condiviso da molti monumenti appaltati a Roma dalle Soprintendenze negli ultimi anni nell’indifferenza dei media. Firmiamo la petizione lanciata dall’Associazione Restauratori Italiani per abolire l’Istituzione Commissariale e salvare i monumenti romani ripristinando la legalità e la corretta interpretazione della legge in vigore. Firmiamo perché venga rispettato l’art. 9 della Costituzione italiana che impegna la Repubblica a tutelare il proprio patrimonio artistico. Il Colosseo è un patrimonio di tutti noi! SAVE THE COLOSSEUM FROM THE COMMISSIONARY ADMINISTRATION! The Colosseum faces it's greatest risk in it's long history: the special commissionary for the safeguard of the archeological sites in Rome, Architect Roberto Cecchi, has decided to entrust the restoration of the monument, symbol for the whole history of ancient Rome, to construction enterprises instead of firms for the conservation and restoration of cultural heritage. Using the enormous decisional power, which he has inherited from Bertolaso (Head of the italian emergency protection service), the commissionary has downgraded the Colosseum: in the year 2000 a pilot project, conducted by conservation professionals and lauded worldwide, had been carried out, in order to pin down the correct application techniques. Now instead, drafting for the purpose a new and crude restoration project for the damaged surfaces, huge construction enterprises, on which converge the sympathy and trust of the commisionary, instead of firms for the conservation of cultural heritage, have been called to lay hand on the monument. This condemnable practice has already been adopted for a part of the Colosseum and other very important monuments of the Roman Forums, as for example the Temple of Antonino e Faustina, completely disregarding the law, which identifies in the conservation professionals the legitimate figure to carry out these delicate projects, in order to garanty the best possible conservation of the monument. The Special Commissionary, created to carry out the restoration works on the archeological monuments faster and better, has chosen to put their conservation in the utmost risk: an inappropriate intervention risks to remove the most significant layers of the monument's surface causing an unrecoverable damage; many monuments contracted by the public administration in Rome in recent years shared the same fate in the complete lack of interest by the media. Sign the petition brought forward by the Association of Italian Restorers (ARI) to abolish the Special Comissionary and save the roman monuments, recovering legality and the correct application of the applying laws. Sign, so that the 9th article of italian constitution, which obligates the Repubblic to protect its cultural and artistic heritage, is rispected. The Colosseum is heritage to all of us! Das Kolosseum ist der größten Gefahr seiner langen Geschichte ausgesetzt: der Sonderkommissar für die Erhaltung der archeologischen Stätten in Rom, Architekt Roberto Cecchi, hat entschlossen die Restaurierung des Monuments, Symbol der gesamten römischen Antike, Bauunternehmen anstatt Restaurierungsfachbetrieben anzuvertrauen. Dank seiner enormen Entscheidungsbefugnis, welche er von Bertolaso (dem Chef des italienischen Katastrophenschutzes) geerbt hat, hat der Kommissar das Monument deklassiert: im Jahr 2000 war ein weltweit gelobtes Pilotprojekt von Fachrestauratoren durchgeführt worden. Jetzt hingegen wurde ein neues und ungehobeltes Projekte für die Behandlung der beschädigten Oberflächen formuliert, zu dessen Ausführung keine Restaurierungsfachbetriebe sondern große Bauunternehmen, denen die Sympathien und das Vertrauen des Kommissars zufallen, herangezogen. Diese verwerfliche Vorgehensweise wurde schon für einen Teil des Kolosseums und andere außerordentlich wichtige Monumente der römischen Foren, z.B. der Tempel von Antonino und Faustina in die Praxis umgesetzt. Völlig offensichtlich wird das Gesetz mißachtet, welches ausdrücklich Fachrestauratoren für die Ausführung solch delikater Arbeiten vorschreibt, eben um die best mögliche Konservierung der Denkmäler zu garantieren. Der Sonderkommissar, ins Leben gerufen um die Restaurierung der archeologischen Denkmäler schneller und besser durchzuführen, hat sich dafür entschieden ihre Erhaltung in höchste Gefahr zu setzen: unsachgemäß ausgeführte Arbeiten riskieren die geschichtsträchtige Haut von der Oberfläche der Monumente zu entfernen und so einen nicht mehr gutzumachenden Schaden anzurichten; viele Denkmäler in Rom welche in den letzten Jahren in öffentlichen Ausschreibungen vergeben wurden, hat bereits das gleiche traurige Schicksal ereilt, im völligen Desinteresse der Medien. Unterschreiben Sie die Petition der Vereinigung Italienischer Restauratoren (ARI) um die kommissarische Verwaltung abzuschaffen, die römischen Denkmäler zu retten und die Legalität und die korrekte Anwendung der geltenden Gesetze wieder herzustellen. Unterschreiben Sie, so daß der 9. Artikel der italienischen Verfassung, welcher die Republik zur Erhaltung ihrer Kunst- und Kulturschätze verpflichtet, respektiert wird. Das Kolosseum ist Teil unser aller Kulturerbe!
